A Tuesday of classic comedy

Painting of “The Imaginary Invalid” by Moliere

THIS EVENT HAS ENDED: This Tuesday our radio station takes a look at  the treasure trove of classic  comedies that are available online.  Writers as diverse as Shakespeare, Moliere, Mark Twain, P.G. Wodehouse, Noel Coward and Ben Hecht will take us on a humorous journey that spans centuries. There will be time travel, spiritism, hypochondria, yes even an occasional case of uranium poisoning, all with a twinkle in the eye, of course. We kick off with the great Baron Munchausen.

The actors appearing this evening will include W.C. Fields, Bob Hope, Laurence Olivier and many, many more.

Be sure to tune in Tuesday for an evening of classic comedy. The broadcast starts around 01.00 (a.m.) on Tuesday Central European Time. On the west coast of the US, that would be around 16.00 on Monday.  On the East coast it would be 19.00.
